Design engineer / product developer (m/f/d) full-time

We are looking for a full-time design engineer/product developer (m/f/d) for our location in Hürth as soon as possible.

THIS IS YOUR FUTURE AT CROOZER
Strategic and Operational
  • You develop innovative solution concepts for bicycle trailers and components.
  • You derive technical requirements, create technical specifications and perform calculations for the dimensioning of components/groups.
  • You design mechanical components and assemblies made of metal and plastic that are suitable for production and cost-oriented, and create 3D CAD models as well as standard-compliant production drawings.
  • You build prototypes (3D prototyping, metal and woodwork).
  • You create parts lists and technical specifications and coordinate sample planning, derive validation tests, carry them out and then evaluate them.
  • You optimise assemblies from existing products as part of product maintenance.
  • You work in an agile and interdisciplinary manner with internal and external interfaces as well as international suppliers and service providers.
  • You will manage your own small development projects, starting with concept development and continuing through to the start of series production, coordinating with all teams involved.
What you bring to the table
  • You have a university degree in mechanical engineering/design or a comparable education
  • You already have several years of professional experience in the design of mechanical components/assemblies and the creation of production drawings, ideally in constructive lightweight construction (e.g. bicycles, toys, prams, wheelchairs, etc.).
  • Your CAD skills, ideally in Solidworks, are very good.
  • You have extensive knowledge and practical professional experience in the field of metal and plastics processing and experience in the application of quality methods and tools, e.g. 8D reports, QFD, FMEA.
  • You are used to working independently, in a solution-oriented and structured manner, while also having a high level of teamwork.
  • Ideally, you have already gained initial experience in project management.
